Whether your interest is for business or pleasure, nothing compares to the thrill of flying the skies. There are 3 main steps involved in obtaining a pilot’s license. This class will prepare you for the 1st step: taking and passing the FAA’s Private Pilot’s Knoweldge Test. Aviation Ground School is an in-depth class that will meet twice a week for 12 weeks. You will hear from aviation experts including Christine Hartges, manager of the FAA Control Tower at MBS International Airport and FAA FAAST Team member, Dr. Greg Pinnell, flight physician for the NASA Space Shuttle, and various other area pilots and instructors. We will point you in the right direction for local flight schools where you can pursue the 2nd requirement for a private pilot’s license. (The 3rd requirement is to pass the checkride with an FAA examiner.) *Fee includes all books and supplies.
