Microsoft’s popular spreadsheet program is called Excel and excel is just what you’ll do in this fun, introductory class! Learn the basics of working with spreadsheets and workbooks to create simple forms and "flat" databases. Create a simple inventory, list of club members, or any other collection of information, then learn to sort and search for the information you want. You’ll learn how easy it is to customize your forms with pictures and special text, too. Excel works well with other popular software packages such as QuickBooks Pro and TurboTax and is extremely compatible with many other programs. Many professional offices use Excel or Excel-based programs, so learning this program can improve your job skills, as well.
